Tamsin first become well known for her role as Debbie Aldridge in the BBC4 Radio show 'The Archers' for which she won a nomination for Best Newcomer in Radio in the 1992 Independent Radio Awards. After lots of supporting roles in many high-rated British TV shows, she eventually got proper TV recognition through her role as Fran in Dylan Moran's award winning cult classic Channel 4 Sitcom 'Black Books' which ran for three series.Tamsin more recently came to audience attention through her leading role in the unique ensemble comedy 'Green Wing', the first series broadcasting to both critical and commercial success. A second series of the show has been commissioned. Tamsin has also found time to appear in a couple of British feature films, including a cameo in the smash hit movie 'Shaun of the Dead'.
